About Dr. Kimeldorf (she/her)

My training and experiences have equipped me with a broad and nuanced understanding of mental health, allowing me to provide comprehensive care that addresses the complex biological, psychological, and social factors impacting each patient.

I am board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and am a licensed physician in the state of New York. I currently serve on the faculty at NYU. Additionally, I have served as a supervisor in the NYU Human Sexuality Program, helping to mentor and guide clinicians in this specialized field.

Education and Training

I completed my undergraduate studies at Cornell University in 1999. After a brief career in workplace design and transformation in a large corporate firm, I attended the pre-med Post-Baccalaureate Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

I earned my medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2009. Following medical school, I continued my training at NYU, where I completed my psychiatry residency in 2013 and had the honor of serving as Chief Resident.

After residency, I worked at the NYU Counseling and Wellness Services as a psychiatrist, providing care to NYU undergraduate and graduate students.

In 2015, I opened my private practice, in which I am dedicated to providing individualized psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment.
